Atiku Criticizes Tinubu's Administration for Lack of Achievements

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has strongly criticized President Bola Tinubu's administration, asserting that it lacks significant achievements and relies on divisive tactics. In a statement shared on his official X handle, Atiku expressed concern over the nation's economic challenges, including rising inflation, youth unemployment, and widespread public discontent. He described the administration's strategy as one of "chaos and division," warning that such an approach endangers the country's stability.

In response, the All Progressives Congress (APC) defended President Tinubu's record, highlighting economic progress such as attracting over $20 billion in investments and significant growth in the Nigerian stock exchange. The APC accused Atiku of political envy and attempting to undermine the administration's efforts.

This exchange underscores the escalating political tensions as Nigeria approaches the 2027 general elections, with both sides presenting contrasting narratives about the country's direction and leadership.
