The loss has deeply affected the team, with Flick describing Miñarro as a "great person and a great doctor" who was "a fundamental part of our team who will be dearly missed."

Despite the emotional challenge, Flick expressed confidence in his team's focus and determination to secure a victory in Miñarro's memory. He noted that the players are "very focused on the game and we want to play for him."

Barcelona leads the tie 1-0 from the first leg and is currently on a 16-game unbeaten run across all competitions. They are also leading La Liga and have reached the Copa del Rey semi-finals, highlighting their strong form this season.

The team has requested UEFA's permission to hold a minute of silence before the match to honor Dr. Miñarro.
