CBN Appoints 16 New Directors to Strengthen Leadership Across Key Departments

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has appointed 16 new directors to lead various departments, effective March 3, 2025.

 

This strategic move aims to strengthen the bank's regulatory, supervisory, and policy functions. Below is the full list of the newly appointed directors and their respective departments:

  3. Makinde Kayode Olanrewaju – Procurement & Support Services Department
  4. Jide-Samuel Omoyemen Avbasowamen – Information Technology Department
  5. Sike Rita Ijeoma – Financial Policy and Regulation Department
  6. Isa-Olatinwo Aisha A. – Consumer Protection Department
  7. Oboh Victor Ugbem – Monetary Policy Department
  8. Nakorji Musa – Trade and Exchange Department
  9. Yusuf Rakiya Opemi – Payments System Supervision Department
  10. Vincent Monsurat Modesola – Strategy Management and Innovation Department
