Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has initiated a ₦100 million defamation lawsuit against fellow actress Queeneth Hilbert. This legal action follows Hilbert's public accusations that Etiko has been involved in relationships with other women's partners, including Hilbert's ex-boyfriend. 

In a video shared on social media, Hilbert alleged that Etiko habitually engages with men who are financially supporting other women, claiming that Etiko had been involved with her ex-partner. Hilbert expressed her frustration, stating:

"This person is always used to, once she sees anybody that is close to you or comes around you and she feels that this person is okay and funding your bills, she go dey try to snatch am, just like my ex." 

 

In response, Etiko's legal team has demanded that Hilbert retract her statements, remove the contentious video, and cease making such allegations in the future. The lawsuit seeks over ₦100 million in damages, emphasizing the impact of the allegations on Etiko's reputation as a respected actress and public figure. 

The legal notice highlights Etiko's prominence in the entertainment industry and the potential harm such allegations could cause to her career and public image. It also underscores the seriousness with which Etiko views these claims and her commitment to protecting her reputation.

As of now, Hilbert has not publicly responded to the lawsuit. The situation has garnered significant attention within the Nollywood community and among fans, with many awaiting further developments.
