Popular Obidient activist dumps LP in Ebonyi for APC

Ambassador Obinna Ukor, a former member of the Obedient Movement in Southeast States, has joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State. Ukor believes that Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has demonstrated the capacity to lead people beyond political party affairs.
He called on his colleagues in the Diaspora to join hands with Nwifuru to build the state, as Ebonyi belongs to everyone. Fred Ukor, a cousin to Ukor, commended Nwifuru's youth empowerment programs, which have elevated the lives of street hawkers and menial workers.
The state chairman of the APC, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, thanked Ukor and his cousins for their active participation in the 2023 general elections, noting that their efforts produced a South-East presidential candidate of Igbo extraction. He called on them to apply the same strength they used during the Obedient Movement to support Nwifuru in the transformation of the state.
