Nigerian singer Terry Apala has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), demanding the removal of a video alleging that Apala and others bribed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Apala, through his legal team, insists the claims are false and defamatory, warning of legal action if the video isn't taken down promptly.

The controversy stems from a viral video where VDM alleged that DJ Tunez, Terry Apala, and DJ Osas were summoned by the EFCC and paid bribes to the agency. Apala refutes these allegations, stating he was out of the country during the purported events, observing Ramadan and performing in South Africa.
