De Bruyne receives £1 million-per-week offer to quit Manchester City.

Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City's playmaker, turned down a lucrative £1 million-per-week offer to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad this summer.

After reviewing the potential move with his family, the Belgian decided to stay with the Premier League champions.

Laurent Blanc, Al-Ittihad's manager, expressed confidence in the club's chances of signing De Bruyne.

However, according to the UK Mirror, the footballer will stay with Pep Guardiola's team for at least another year due to family upheaval fears.

De Bruyne and his wife, Michele, have "specific reservations about changing the schooling of eldest son Mason Milian."

However, the 33-year-old is currently in the final year of his current contract.
