The Ipole farm village in Agbado-Ekiti, in the Ayekire Local Government Area, is experiencing palpable anxiety after it was claimed that a deaf and dumb man named Sunday Alabi decapitated a man named Sikiru, also known as Badoo.
As stated in a blog article in Nigeria News today, the victim was assaulted after he confronted Sunday (deaf and dump), who was caught stealing corn from his field. The suspect struck him with a machete.
Before any other farmers noticed him and called the police, the assailant had already left the victim lying in a pool of his own blood.
When contacted, DSP Sunday Abutu, the spokesman for the Ekiti Police Command, verified the event and stated that the suspect had been taken into custody.
