Jay-Z and Diddy Lawsuit Dismissed

A civil lawsuit accusing Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter and Sean "Diddy" Combs of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in 2000 has been voluntarily dismissed by the accuser's legal team. The case was dismissed with prejudice, preventing it from being refiled in the future.

Jay-Z expressed relief over the dismissal, describing the allegations as "frivolous, fictitious, and appalling." He emphasized the emotional toll the lawsuit had on his family and criticized the accuser's attorney, Tony Buzbee, suggesting the lawsuit was a "money grab" due to its lack of evidence.

While this particular lawsuit has been dismissed, Sean "Diddy" Combs continues to face multiple civil lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct. He is currently incarcerated, awaiting trial on separate charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, with the trial scheduled for May 2025.
