US Army Marine Corps F-35 Fighter Jet Disappears Over South Carolina, Pilot Safely Ejected

A US Army Marine Corps F-35 fighter jet has gone missing over South Carolina following a pilot ejection due to a mishap. Fortunately, the pilot has been safely recovered and is in stable condition at a local medical center.
Joint Base Charleston and Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort have initiated a joint effort to locate the missing F-35B Lightning II. They are utilizing the aircraft's last-known position, which officials believe is situated near Lake Moultrie and Lake Marion, just north of Joint Base Charleston.
What's particularly concerning is that the F-35 was left in autopilot mode when the pilot ejected. Jeremy Huggins, a spokesperson for Joint Base Charleston, has indicated that this circumstance leaves the possibility that the aircraft could still be airborne somewhere in the region.
To aid in their search and recovery efforts, Joint Base Charleston has reached out to the public through a tweet, requesting anyone with relevant information to contact them, as it could be crucial in locating the missing F-35. The situation is under ongoing investigation and search operations.
