Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has declared himself the best actor in Africa. In a recent Instagram post, he stated, "Many people are saying that Yul Edochie is the best actor in Africa. Actually, they're right. I AM." 

This declaration has sparked diverse reactions on social media. Some users criticized his statement, suggesting his career is declining, while others dismissed his claim, questioning his standing among African actors. For instance, one commenter wrote, "Who and who? Best actor my foot. Always looking for a way to wake your dead career. Shameless amu bingo." 

Despite the criticism, veteran actor Kanayo O. Kanayo praised Edochie's talent. He noted that regardless of personal opinions about Edochie, his performance skills and ability to express his artistic mien and candor are undeniable. 

This isn't the first time Edochie has made bold claims about his status in the entertainment industry. Previously, he and his wife asserted they are the most entertaining couple on social media, following a milestone of 1.5 million views on Facebook.
