In Delta State's Ughelli North Local Government Area, the Uwheru Community bridge over the East-West route has collapsed.


As at the time of this article, the cause of the collapse is still unclear.


According to KUGJAY MEDIA correspondent in Warri, motorists and passengers from Port-Court, Rivers, and other Niger Delta states were compelled to totally abandon a single-lane stretch of the road where the incident took place.


Many drivers have now made a request to the Federal Government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking them to assist in repairing the road and making it passable for the majority of people who live in that axis.
