The Premier League has announced adjustments to its 2025 summer transfer window to accommodate the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup. The transfer window will now open early from June 1 to June 10, allowing all Premier League clubs to conduct initial transfer activities. This period includes an exceptional registration window approved by FIFA for teams participating in the Club World Cup, such as Manchester City and Chelsea. ​

Following this initial phase, the transfer window will briefly close and then reopen from June 16, remaining open until September 1. This schedule provides a total of 86 days for transfer activities, aligning with FIFA's regulations. ​

The adjustments aim to ensure that all Premier League clubs, especially those competing in the Club World Cup, have adequate opportunities to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season.
