Bauchi governor calls for enhanced air surveillance to strengthen border security.

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has called on the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to intensify air surveillance in border communities to enhance security and stability. During a meeting with the outgoing Air Officer Commanding the Special Operations Command at the NAF Base in Bauchi, Air Vice Marshal Eniobong Effiong, Governor Mohammed emphasized the importance of collaboration between the NAF and other security agencies to effectively combat crime in the state.
 

He commended Effiong for his contributions to the state's security and reaffirmed his administration's commitment to partnering with security agencies to promote peace and protect residents. Air Vice Marshal Effiong expressed gratitude for the governor's support and assured continued cooperation between the NAF and the state government to uphold security and stability. Effiong has been reassigned to the Office of the National Security Adviser in Abuja.
