The Imo State Police Command has addressed a video circulating online that allegedly depicts unknown gunmen operating at a camp within the state. According to the command's spokesperson, DSP Henry Okoye, the video is outdated, originally published in 2023, and is now being misrepresented as a recent event.
 

Okoye emphasized that the video is a form of "cheap blackmail" by criminal elements attempting to mislead the public. He further stated that the camp shown in the video had been identified and dismantled by security operatives, neutralizing the associated threat. The police urge the public to disregard the video and remain vigilant against such misinformation
