Ford Recalls Over 105,000 SUVs on Seat-Belt Concern

Ford Motor Company is recalling approximately 105,322 SUVs due to a seat belt issue. The recall affects Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator models from the 2018 to 2020 model years. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported that the seat belt pretensioners for the driver and/or front passenger may inadvertently lock, potentially preventing the seat belts from retracting or extending properly.

To address this issue, Ford dealers will inspect the seat belt retractor date codes and replace the affected parts at no cost to vehicle owners.

If you own one of the affected vehicles, it is advisable to contact your local Ford or Lincoln dealer to schedule an inspection and necessary repairs. For more information, you can visit Ford's official recall page.
