Russian Missile Attacks Intensify Across Ukraine

In the early hours of April 6, 2025, Russian forces launched a significant missile and drone attack on Kyiv, resulting in one fatality and three injuries. The assault caused fires and damage across multiple districts, marking the most substantial attack on Ukraine in recent weeks.

Kyiv's Mayor, Vitali Klitschko, reported that the body of a man was found near the explosion's epicenter in the Darnytskyi district. Two other civilians were hospitalized following the attack. The assault also led to fires in non-residential buildings and damage to vehicles.

This attack follows a recent Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's hometown, which resulted in at least 19 deaths, including nine children, and left 75 others injured.

In response to the heightened threat, Poland has increased its military readiness, with Polish and allied NATO aircraft patrolling airspace near the Ukrainian border.

These developments underscore the ongoing intensity of the conflict and the significant challenges faced by Ukrainian civilians.
