Senator Kawu praises Tinubu for approving the Federal Polytechnic Rano Bill.

Senator Sumaila Kawu, representing Kano South under the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has commended President Bola Tinubu for signing the bill establishing the Federal Polytechnic, Rano, in Kano State.

He emphasized that this development will enhance vocational education in Kano and across Nigeria, providing youth with access to quality technical education and equipping them with skills for a competitive job market.

Senator Kawu also acknowledged the efforts of Rep. Kabiru Rurum, who sponsored the bill, and expressed gratitude to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio; Deputy Senate President, Jibrin Barau; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen; and other members of the National Assembly for their roles in the bill's passage. He called on the Kano State Government and citizens to support this initiative, aligning with President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.

Additionally, Senator Kawu's commendation follows President Tinubu's recent signing of the North Central Development Commission bill into law, which aims to strengthen the economy and infrastructure of the North Central geopolitical zone.
