Ogun State Initiates Recruitment of 500 Additional Amotekun Operatives to Enhance Security

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has approved the recruitment of 500 additional operatives for the Ogun State Security Network, known as the Amotekun Corps. This initiative aims to bolster the state's security framework and reflects the government's commitment to enhancing safety for all residents.

 

Interested candidates can apply free of charge through the official Amotekun website: ogunstateamotekun.com.ng. The application window is open from Monday, March 10, 2025, to Friday, April 4, 2025. A comprehensive screening exercise is scheduled from Tuesday, April 22, 2025, to Thursday, May 1, 2025.

 

This recruitment drive comes just two months after the passing out parade of 690 newly trained operatives, underscoring the state's ongoing efforts to strengthen its security apparatus.
