APC Denies Tinubu-Shettima Rift, Rejects VP Replacement Speculations for 2027

The Presidency has firmly denied rumors of a rift between President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, dismissing such claims as unfounded and malicious. Stanley Nkwocha, Shettima's spokesperson, emphasized that the Vice President enjoys the total confidence and full support of President Tinubu, highlighting their harmonious collaboration.

Furthermore, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed speculations about replacing Vice President Shettima in the 2027 elections. Shehu Sanin-Malam, an APC leader in Bauchi State, warned against attempts to create discord between the President and Vice President, describing such moves as unacceptable.

These statements collectively reaffirm the unity within the Tinubu-Shettima administration and the APC's commitment to maintaining their current leadership structure.
