APC Governors Pay Sallah Visit to Former President Buhari in Kaduna

On April 7, 2025, governors from Nigeria's All Progressives Congress (APC) visited former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Kaduna. The delegation, led by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, aimed to extend Sallah greetings and congratulate Buhari on the successful completion of Ramadan. Uzodimma emphasized that the visit symbolized respect, loyalty, and appreciation for Buhari's leadership and legacy.

 

Governors present included Uba Sani (Kaduna), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi), Nasir Idris (Kebbi), Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), Monday Okpebholo (Edo), Usman Ododo (Kogi), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), and Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe).

 

The governors expressed gratitude to Buhari for his leadership, crediting him with fostering a cohesive structure that enabled the APC to retain power. They reiterated the party's unity and commitment to good governance, highlighting its strength and stability ahead of the 2027 elections.
